Well, December just started....wait. It's December already?!?!????

Last week, I was sitting at my desk, minding my own business, and this guy walked into the office, holding a bouquet.....Matt had sent me some gorgeous flowers, and for no reason at all!!  :D :D :D  They are soo pretty, and they make my bedroom smell wonderful!  Love my guy!

Are they beautiful???

On Saturday the 4th, Matt and I met my family at the South Towne Expo Center for the Festival of Trees.  This is one of my favorite Christmas traditions!  My family has attended this festival for as long as I can remember.  We walked and walked aaaaaaand walked.  So many trees!  I didn't really have a favorite tree this year, but there were a couple I really liked (especially the rivalry trees, those crack me up).  And then, of course, we looked at the gingerbread houses, my favorite part!  Someone this year decided to do an ENTIRE amusement park out of candy, and it was AWESOME!  Here are some pictures from the festival:

Cookie monster tree....hahaha, the title was "C is for Christmas"

Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood....

Anyone want some chicken????

One of my roomies (Rob) just bought a new camera (it's Nikon, but I forgive him ;)....) and asked me to go to Temple Square with him to try it out.  I took mine and we met his cousin down there on Monday night.  It. was. awesome.  Rob has had some practical lessons with a friend who is a pro photographer, and his cousin is also very knowledgeable....so I got some great advice and some tips on using the camera!  Which is awesome, because I've never taken photography, so I know very VERY little about the logisitics of it all.  We walked around for what I thougtht was maybe an hour....yeah, we were there for over two and half hours...tee hee!  Time flies!  Here are some I took, hope you like!  I'm sure I'll have more to post soon; my weekends are already spoken for for the rest of December, I have so many parties and events to attend! Cheers, and Mawwy Cwissmus! :D

That would be Rob, photographer extraordinaire
